The new timetable combines the three versions previously available and includes a range of features including pull out maps, detailed route descriptions, a full calendar and information on the type of fares available.
Councillor Graham Powell, cabinet member for education and infrastructure, said: “We listened to bus users who said it would be easier to have one timetable instead of three, so we hope the new version will prove to be a useful guide.”
“Although the timetable was only launched last month, we’re already receiving positive feedback with one user claiming it to be an ‘altogether excellent guide for a rural county and one of the finest publications in Britain’.”
Mike Ledlie from Rail for Herefordshire, said: “It’s an excellent publication with attractive pictures and having all the timetables for the county in one booklet makes it much easier to use, especially for those who catch more than one bus.”
He added: “It's great that the council have managed to keep the cost to 50p, which makes it much better value than the previous timetables, while the fold out county map is a work of art and the inclusion of places of interest is another bonus.”
The new timetable along with a free Herefordshire public transport map and guide are available across the county at council customer service centres, tourist information offices, village stores and post offices and Tesco in Bewell Street, Hereford.
