The changes, which come into effect this month, are a result of a public consultation held last year, where it was decided to retain registration services in the county’s market towns, but to co-locate them within the local customer service centre.
The relocation into customer service centres will enable the council to reduce costs and make better use of existing council resources. This is in line with the council’s current programme of reviewing services to not only reduce costs but protect services to vulnerable people.
The registration service will now be available in:
Town Hall, St Owen’s Street
Monday to Wednesday 9:00am – 4:30pm, Thursday 9:00am – 8:00pm and Friday 9:00am – 4:00pm
The Bromyard Centre, 1 Cruxwell Street
Thursday 2:00pm – 4:00pm
The Kington Centre, 64 Bridge Street
Thursday 9:30am – 11:30am
Town Council Offices, Church Street
