Herefordshire Council’s Choose How you Move team has organised a packed schedule of bike rides across spring and summer. The rides, which are led by a trained ride leader are a great way to discover some of Hereford’s cycle paths and quiet roads, make new friends and improve fitness.

Leisurely rides for beginners, returners and families are taking place on Sundays at 10.30am and will continue through to September. The next ride is on Sunday 28 April. Rides start and finish at the cabin, by the tennis courts on the Bishop's Meadow in Hereford. Rides won’t take more than an hour to complete.

For those who would like to take part but do not own a bike, let us know and we can loan you a bike for the ride.

Councillor Powell, Cabinet Member Education and Infrastructure said, “These rides are a great way for people to polish up their cycling skills, find out about new routes and make new friends. As they are led by qualified trainers you can be confident whatever your level of skill. I'll be joining some of these rides and look forward to meeting fellow cyclists as we enjoy the Herefordshire cycle ways together”
