Visitors to Herefordshire and the city of Hereford in particular will continue to enjoy the expert visitor services on offer from the popular Black and White headquarters across from the Cathedral in King Street, Hereford.
Visit Herefordshire and Herefordshire Council have recently agreed on new lease terms for their Visit Herefordshire Office and the Discover Herefordshire Centre on King Street in Hereford after speculation earlier this year that the centre may close.
Councillor Roger Phillips, cabinet member for Economic Development and Culture said “This means that Visit Herefordshire can continue to build a stable business from a central location in Hereford and will be able to focus on the marketing and promotion of the county and to build on the success of the Food Festival to bring wider economic benefit to the county “.
Sir Ben Gill, Chairman of Visit Herefordshire added “I am pleased that we have been able to find a formula that will allow us to remain in the centre of the county and the city in a cost effective manner. This solution provides a ‘win, win’ outcome for all those with an interest in the successful promotion of Tourism in Herefordshire.”
The Discover Herefordshire offices are open from 9am – 5pm Monday –Saturday. Visit Herefordshire can be found on www.visitherefordshire.co.uk
