Christmas closing across the council

Herefordshire Council offices, including customer service centres, libraries, museums and children’s centres will be closed over the Christmas holidays.

All council buildings will be closed on Tuesday 24, Wednesday 25, Thursday 26, Friday 27 December and Wednesday 1 January as part of the council’s commitment to reducing internal operating costs in response to severe reductions in government funding.

All council staff will be taking the additional two days holiday as unpaid leave, to further reduce the council’s costs.

All council buildings will also close at 5pm on Tuesday 31 December.
