Forthcoming combined election in Tupsley

Herefordshire Council will be holding a combined election in Hereford’s Tupsley ward on Thursday 7 November 2013.

Three candidates have been nominated to stand for both the Tupsley ward election and the Hereford, Tupsley parish ward election, following the resignation of Councillor Alexander Hempton-Smith.

Voting for the combined election will be available from 7am to 10pm in four locations in the local area: Broadland's Primary School at Prospect Walk, the TA Centre on Harold Street, Hampton Park United Reformed Church Hall on Hampton Dene Road and Tupsley Scout and Guide HQ at Wellington Place.

The deadline to apply to be included on the register of electors, which will entitle you to vote in the election, is Wednesday 23 October 2013.

The last date to request a new postal vote or change / cancel an existing absent vote application is 5pm on Wednesday 23 October 2013, while the deadline for new proxy vote applications is 5pm on Wednesday 30 October 2013.

Registered voters will have already received a poll card for the election.  If you haven’t received a poll card, please contact the council’s electoral services office.
