Have a say on community concerns

PACT stands for Partners and Communities Together. It gives you the chance to tell your safer neighbourhood team, local authority and other partner agencies about the issues causing concern within your community and which ones you want us to deal with as a priority.

Sergeant Colin Smith, West Mercia Police said: “This is a great way for people to have a say on issues important to them and share how it impacts their local community. It’s a chance for people to meet the local partners and ask questions or raise concerns. We encourage everyone to come along and have a chat with us in a friendly atmosphere.”

The issues raised can vary significantly, and aren't always for the police to deal with, but common examples include:

  • Graffiti
  • Vandalism
  • Speeding
  • Dog fouling
  • Young people gathering
  • Anti-social behaviour
  • Drinking in the street

The PACT surgery will be held every Monday and Friday at Leominster Library, The Buttercross from 2.30pm to 3.30pm. Everyone welcome. For more information contact the safer neighbourhoods team on
