Volunteers needed to pack archive photographs

HER_Current _Storage

The council’s Historic Environment Record team is beginning preparations for their big move later this year to the new Herefordshire archive and records storage facility now under construction at Rotherwas.

They have a project to move and label approximately 1,600 aerial photographs into new map cabinets and are in need of volunteers to help.  Volunteers will need to have a good attention to detail, and clear handwriting for the labels, plus a good level of physical fitness as packets of aerial photographs are quite large and heavy!

There will be an induction session in March for volunteers to begin work the following week. For information and to register for the induction please email
