Herefordshire Council is offering free parking after 6pm in all of its public car parks in Hereford (with the exception of Maylord Orchard car park) from 25 July to 1 August for the duration of the 2015 Three Choirs Festival. The festival celebrates its 300th year this summer.
The management of the Old Market car park will also be offering the same parking concession in their car park for the duration of the festival.
Councillor Rone, cabinet member transport and roads said, “It’s great that we are able to support this historic festival by offering free parking. We hope it will be received as a welcome gesture to those visiting Hereford; not only for the festival but to see a little bit more of our wonderful city. It’s great news that Old Market is also supporting free parking.”
The festival is a week-long programme of choral and orchestral concerts, music recitals, masterclasses, talks, theatre, exhibitions and walks.
