Help us to set the county’s transport priorities – take part in the Local Transport Plan consultation

Herefordshire Council is calling on residents of the county to help to set its transport and infrastructure spending priorities from 2016-2031. The new LTP4, once adopted, will set out the council's strategy for supporting economic growth, improving health and wellbeing, and reducing the environmental impacts of transport.

Cllr Philip Price, cabinet member infrastructure said:

“LTP4 focuses on the transport issues which affect all of us every day. The council wants to promote economic prosperity, creating more jobs and more homes but this needs to be balanced with not only creating and maintaining the right infrastructure, but also creating opportunities for people to travel sustainably.

This is your opportunity to shape travel options and infrastructure spending and let us know where your priorities lie.”

The LTP consultation will run for six weeks, ending on the 31 December 2015.
