Herefordshire Council funding is now available to help local communities develop a range of activities and services for young people in Ledbury.

The Ledbury Youth Provision fund can provide a one off amount of up to £10,000 to help young people aged 11 to 19 years old in Ledbury and the surrounding area through different activities and services which promote equality and diversity.

The fund is designed to provide a small amount of funding to kick start the ongoing provision of youth activities within Ledbury; therefore it is expected that any activities or services provided will still be running after 12 months.

The council welcomes applications from groups and organisations who are properly constituted and have a bank account. Whilst applicants do not need to provide match funding, if other funding has been secured for similar work, it will be good to know how the additional funding will help maximise outcomes for young people. Similarly, it will also be helpful to understand if volunteers are being used for the project.

To find out more and download an application form, please visit the Ledbury Youth Provision webpage.  Alternatively, please contact the council’s delegated grants team on 01432 260753 or delegatedgrants@herefordshire.gov.uk.

The deadline for all applications is 5pm on Friday 18 September 2015.
