MetNet launches survey to study carbon footprint of businesses

Herefordshire Council is asking local businesses to take part in an online business survey created by MetNet – a network promoting collaborative working among businesses that provide products or services within the environmental technologies sector. The survey has been devised and launched to study the environmental and low carbon economy across the Marches and Worcestershire LEP areas including the local authorities of Herefordshire, Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Worcestershire.

The survey takes no longer than 15 minutes and can be completed before 5pm Friday 30th October 2015. It contains a series of questions about current and planned carbon reduction and resource efficiency practices by local businesses.

The survey will identify ways to help businesses in reducing their carbon footprint and becoming more resource efficient. In order to carry out this research MetNet has appointed Innovas Consulting – an international consulting firm, specialised in European internationalisation.
